About

Cape Romain was founded in 1946 by Andrew DuPre and Jimmy DuPre. Its focus was to provide complete biological topographical and ecological services that supported conservation practices for all kinds of wildlife. Cape Romain gradually shifted toward construction. In 1979 Andrew’s son Anthony DuPre took the helm and expanded an already reputable company solidifying Cape Romain as an honest hard working and dependable company. Anthony’s son Sonny DuPre became president in 2002 and served in that position until 2017. Cape Romain is now owned and managed by 3rd generation owner Andrew DuPre and Fourth generation owners Jordan Houston and Hamlin DuPre. Cape Romain Specializes in heavy civil construction with emphasis on marine structures, bridges, piers etc....
